David Bronner

David Bronner is the Cosmic Engagement Officer of Dr. Bronner’s, North America’s top natural soap brand. A fifth-generation soap maker and Harvard biology graduate, he helped grow the company from $4 million in 1998 to over $129 million in 2019. David and his brother Michael turned Dr. Bronner’s into a model of ethical business: capping executive pay, using 100 percent post-consumer recycled bottles, and powering facilities with solar energy.

David is also a leading activist for hemp farming, regenerative organic agriculture, fair trade, veganism, animal welfare, and psychedelic policy reform. He helped establish the Regenerative Organic Certified standard and continues to use Dr. Bronner’s as a platform for social, environmental, and cultural change.
