Amber Capone

In 2019, Amber left a top real estate career to co-found and lead Veterans Exploring Treatment Solutions (VETS) as CEO. As a Navy spouse, she saw firsthand the toll of military service. Her husband Marcus, a retired Navy SEAL, struggled with PTSD, TBI, depression, alcohol use, and insomnia after leaving the military. Conventional treatments failed, but a breakthrough came when Marcus underwent psychedelic-assisted therapy using ibogaine and 5-MeO-DMT abroad—an experience that restored his cognitive function and ended his dependency on alcohol and prescriptions. Inspired by this transformation, Amber and Marcus launched VETS to help other veterans find healing. Since then, VETS has supported nearly 1,000 U.S. Special Forces veterans with access to psychedelic therapies, along with coaching and holistic support. VETS is redefining veteran care by promoting foundational healing and helping veterans reclaim their purpose.
